Here is the reverse of yesterday's sleigh, and I think I like this one better. It's paired with the new Pine Bough embossing folder, which is so gorgeous in real life! You know me, I love texture and any dies that coordinate with a stamp set, so I was ecstatic when I saw how many dies were in the Holiday catalog - TWELVE!!! And three embossing folders, including a new type that makes really deep impressions (Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions E.F - I'll show you that one later). Here's a detailed view of the Pine Bough embossing.
Something I realized after I made these cards is, not ALL the impressions made by the filigree overlay for the sleigh are meant to be poked out. I thought I wasn't getting a good cut, but it's just the way it's designed to be! Look closely at the die. You can see where it's supposed to cut out a shape, and where it's just supposed to impress a shape. Live and learn (from my mistakes, lol). Arrows are point to a few spots; there are more.
Stay tuned tomorrow for more sneak peeks from the Stampin' Up! 2016 Holiday Catalog!
