CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Beginning to Look Like Christmas!

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas - everybody sing along! I have something a little different to share. Christmas mean gifts for loved ones, and the Christmas Gifting (all inclusive) Kit is perfect for making gift tags that also hold gift cards. Here are the tags, with one flipped over to show the gift card pocket on back.

But wait...there's more! The leftover bits from the kit can be turned into Christmas cards!

The remaining die cut from the deer head was used and one of the gift card holders was cut down to make a mat for the head. Some coordinating Mint Macaron was added behind, the greeting was stamped on both sides, and the whole thing was popped up on dimensionals on the Timber 3D-embossed background.

I used the Dark Mint Mac Blend to color the ribbon to match, and added a few brushed metallic dots to complete it. I think there is a rather masculine feel to the card, don't you?

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.

Stamp Review Crew - Jingle Jingle Jingle

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Jingle Jingle Jingle edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Lou's blog, welcome! There are five of us today. If you get lost, click the banner at the top for the complete blog roll.

Jingle Jingle Jingle is an 18 piece photopolymer stamp set with outline and filler words, and adorable mini images! That Santa hat was just meant to be perched on the JOLLY, don't you think?

I wanted a lot of sparkle for this card, and the Real Red & White Glimmer Paper didn't let me down. In fact, it was SO sparkly that I thought it needed to be toned down a little bit with some Whimsical Woodland-embossed vellum. Then I had to add more sparkle with the red rhinestones, LOL.

The second card borrows the horse drawn sleigh image from Christmas Barn, because you just HAVE to jingle all the way in a one horse open sleigh, right?

The snowflake pattern in the Storybook Gnomes DSP made the perfect backdrop, with some added snowflakes from the Celebration Tags Dies.

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what the always amazing Jay created, or "Previous" to visit Lou again!

Control Freaks Divine DSP

The Freaky theme this month is DIVINE DSP. And if you know me, you know what a paper ho...arder I am, so this is one of my favorite themes!! So many pretty papers, so little time. If you landed here from Wendy's blog, welcome! Weren't her projects aMAZing? There are five of us this time, and I can't wait to see what beautiful DSP everyone chose for their projects!

I had a hard time deciding on whether to use DSP that will retire soon (get it while you can!), or DSP that's in the annual catalog that will be around for a while. So I decided to do both! All the cards use the new Framed Florets dies and/or Framed & Festive stamp set. The first card features Texture Chic DSP and Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, which will be around until the annual catalog ends.

Because the DSP has Petal Pink along with the gold, I used Petal Pink to stamp the snowflakes (from Season of Chic), and stamped the greeting (Framed & Festive) in Soft Suede.

The next card features the Fitting Florets DSP that will only be available until Jan. 4, or while supplies last. The flowers are also part of that pack, and have a coordinating die to make it easy to cut!

I haven't made a shaker card in a while, so I thought a birthday shaker would be fun.

The last card also features DSP that will be retiring when the Jul-Dec Mini ends - Snowflake Specialty Vellum and Celebrate Everything (Host) DSP.

This time I went with Contours Dies to keep it simple. This is one of the cards we made in last week's stamp club.

Up next is Debbie, at Debbie Henderson Designs. Check out the gorgeous things she made!

CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Gratitude

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is Gratitude, and I am truly filled with gratitude for the friendships I've made over the years through stamping. This week one of those friends got this card from me. *waves* Hi, Sherry!

I don't usually do punch art, but this pumpkin was just begging to be made and framed with the new oval die in Framed Florets. I used the acorn die in the Fond of Autumn bundle to cut the pumpkin's stem, and the oak leaf stamp and dies for the leaves. It's all popped up on the plaid background. (Love the plaid with the wood grain texture. Such a rustic, homey feel!)

The greeting (Alphabest & Season of Chic) was fussy cut and adhered to the pumpkin with liquid glue, with dimensionals under the ends of the "thanks" to stay in line with the popped up pumpkin.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.

Stamp Review Crew - North Pole Mischief

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's North Pole Mischief BONUS edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Lou's blog, welcome! There are four of us today, but if you get lost just click the banner at the top of each blog for the blog roll.

North Pole Mischief is a cute six piece cling stamp set with three images and three greetings. I chose to use just a part of one of the images for my card. I think that little dog is adorable, and it wanted to help with wrapping the gifts, so I stamped the image, then colored and fussy-cut just the pooch and ribbon. Here is the fun fold card I created, and I can't for the life of me remember what this simple fold is called. *sigh*

There are all kinds of different elements from the Jul-Dec Mini on this card, and even something from the upcoming Jan-Apr Mini that you can order now! The framed oval is from the Framed Florets Dies now available for customer purchase that will be in the new mini. I cut it twice from Basic White Thick cardstock and taped the bottom layer oval and frame together for support, then glued the top layer on. It's extra sturdy and I'm not worried about the inner oval popping out of the frame.

Dontcha love those muddy footprints? 😉

The DSP is from Santa Express (pg. 17 of the current mini), the sequins are part of the Sweetest Christmas Collection (pg. 9), and the Shaded Spruce stamped snowflake/sparkles are from the Penguin Place stamp set (pg. 22). I like to use ALL. THE. THINGS. 😁

I also decorated an envelope to match, something I don't do often enough. Some of the matching DSP was adhered to the flap, and more snowflake/sparkles were stamped up the side of the front.

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Betty created (I'm sure she did something with the cat!), or "Previous" to visit Lou again!
