CSF Saturday Hop - Halloween Time

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Halloween again! And it isn't Halloween without pumpkins, right? We went to a local farm to make a deposit on our Thanksgiving turkey (eating local!), and when we pulled in, there were pumpkins just about as far as the eye could see - I've never seen so many orange globes all in one place! There were a lot more; I just couldn't fit it all into one shot.

That made me remember the Scenic Pumpkin Patch stamp set, which hasn't seen ink yet, so I used the photo as inspiration to recreate the plethora of pumpkins. 😄 And yes, I fussy cut all those little suckers.

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF840

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is the colors Cajun Craze, Wild Wheat, and Mossy Meadow. To be very honest, I'm not fond of Wild Wheat, but it really goes well with this combination!

I used the Forever Plaid 3D folder for the Wild Wheat background and added an angled piece of Cajun Craze (2 3/8" x 4 3/8") behind the greeting panel (2 3/8" x 4 1/4"). The greeting was stamped in Pebbled Path.

After stamping the tree with Pebbled Path, I used the masks and Blending Brushes with Cajun Craze for the trunk & branches, and Mossy Meadow for the leaves. It reminds me of the Giant Redwoods in California. 😊

After die cutting the tree it was popped up on dimensionals, and Gold Textured Adhesive-backed Dots were added to complete the card. They matched the Wild Wheat perfectly!

CSF Saturday Hop - Halloween Magic

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Halloween Magic. This theme was a challenge for me because I don't have any Halloween stamps! 😮 Can you believe it??? I did remember seeing a pumpkin in the Choose Happy set, and paired it with books of spells and potions (Bird's Eye View) to make Halloween Magic.

The star in Choose Happy was stamped with Peach Pie ink on the 3 3/4" x 5" Basic White piece. It was matted on Basic Black measuring just slightly less than 4" x 5 1/4", then adhered to the Peach Pie card base. A loop of Peach Pie ribbon was then tacked down with glue dots.

The largest Stylish Shapes circle die was used to cut Basic Black (note: you can cut it from the mat behind the stars panel to save cardstock) and the second largest circle was used on the Peach Pie striped DSP. The greeting was stamped, die cut and adhered to the back of the circles, then all were popped up on dimensionals. The books and pumpkin were stamped, colored and fussy cut and also popped on dimensionals.
