CSF Saturday Hop - Winter Birthday

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Winter Birthday. I know lots of people with winter birthdays, so this was a fun theme! My sweet neighbor's birthday is next week, and she's a nature lover, so I thought the birds in the Nests of Winter DSP was a good place to start.

Unfortunately, the image I wanted to use didn't have a coordinating die, so it had to be fussy cut. I used more of the Nests of Winter DSP for the background, adding a little Lost Lagoon around the edges of the arch to make it pop a little.

Since it is a winter birthday card, I added some glimmer snowflakes using the One of a Kind dies. Ironically, my neighbor is not fond of winter at ALL. 😂

CSF Saturday Hop - Let it Snow

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Let it Snow. For a fun twist on the theme I used the non-traditional colors of Coastal Cabana and Fresh Freesia.

I used the Sparkling Snowflakes bundle and stamped the background stamps after stamping off to lighten the color, the used the detail stamps stamped full strength.

The background was embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D folder then adhered to the card base.

The Sparkling Snowflakes Tag Topper was punched from white glimmer and a Fresh Freesia mat was added behind the greeting. That gorgeous Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon (and the sequins) are part of the Sale-A-Bration offer starting next month!

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF849

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge is a sketch, and an opportunity to show some Online Exclusive Specialty DSP, plus one of the upcoming offerings from Sale-A-Bration, which starts January 7th!

I used two patterns from Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP for the strips, cutting them just under 1/2" wide (7/16", to be precise) with the horizontal strips 4" long and the vertical strips 3" long. They were adhered to 4" x 5 1/4" Basic White, which was embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and adhered to the Melon Mambo card base.

The hearts were die cut from white glimmer paper using the dies that are part of the Heart Shaped Sale-A-Bration bundle (in the brochure on page 12).

The flowers and greeting were stamped in Melon Mambo ink, then die cut with more dies from that bundle and popped up on mini dimensionals. I think that bundle is my favorite SAB item! Unfortunately, I can't link it in the product list below because you can't earn it yet!

CSF Saturday Hop - Winter Friends

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is Winter Friends. The adorable animals in the Reindeer Days DSP certainly qualify for friends, playing in the wintery weather!

For the background, I used a sheet of copy paper to cut a mask for the snow, and blended Pool Party and Lost Lagoon onto a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Basic White. I then stamped the snowflakes from Reindeer Fun using Pool Party ink, and embossed the piece with the Snowflake Sky embossing folder.

The darling deer building its snowdeer, and the other darling deer pulling its bunny buddy were fussy cut from the DSP and popped up on dimensionals. The greeting (stamped in Lost Lagoon) was die cut with an Unbounded Love die and also popped up. Iridescent Faceted Gems added the sparkle.
