I do believe this Cookie-Cutter Christmas set is going to be one of those rare stamps sets where I use ALL of the stamps! As I was drifting to sleep the other night, I suddenly had the idea for this card pop into my head. That's not unusual...inspiration strikes in the middle of the night on a fairly regular basis. But the fact the I actually remembered it when I woke up is unusual! (I really need to keep a notebook and pen on my nightstand, lol.)
This little cutie just makes me smile all over my face. (S)he was a joy to color. (Is it a boy or girl? And does it really matter?) The paper igloo was so much easier to build than the real thing, using the Layering Circles and Layering Ovals Framelits, along with the Brick Wall embossing folder. Once again, I used the Seaside embossing folder to turn the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper into snow drifts.
Did you notice the tiny Dazzling Diamond snowflakes? Those were made using one of the pieces from the Detailed Santa Thinlits dies. It cuts seven at a time!
Stay tuned for more Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog sneak peeks - I have TONS more to make and share!

So I have to ask... how many real igloos have you actually built? Love the card.
ReplyDeleteHaha, Becky! I actually tried to build one when I was a kid. Didn't work out so well. :D
