Birthday Time of Year

While this isn't the birthday time of year for my family, it does seem to be for many of my friends so I am in need of lots of birthday cards right now! The reason for the title of this post is I used the Time of Year stamp set today. It's another versatile set that can be used for 'thinking of you', or Christmas, birthday, Autumn (see the adorable acorn and leaf), or just in general. Lots of possibilities with this one! The only catch is - it's a Hostess set, and you can only get it with a qualifying purchase (or party). Ask me how!

Here's the "How To"
Die cut leaves and small flourish: Sweet Sugarplum 2-1/2" x 3"
 Greeting: Very Vanilla 2-5/8" x 3"
 Mat: Sweet Sugarplum 2-3/4" x 3-1/8"
 Birthday banner: Very Vanilla 1-1/4" x 3-1/2"
 Embossed background: Very Vanilla 4" x 5-1/4"
 Mat: Sweet Sugarplum 4-1/8" x 5-3/8"
Card base: Very Vanilla 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/4"
  1. Emboss Very Vanilla background with Petal Burst folder. Add ribbon and lace, fastening ends to back. Attach to Sweet Sugarplum mat and then to card base.
  2. Stamp greeting in Rich Razzleberry on Very Vanilla and adhere to Sweet Sugarplum mat. Attach both to card base.
  3. Stamp 'Birthday' in Rich Razzleberry and die cut with Bunch of Banners die. Attach below greeting with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. Die cut leaf stem and small flourish. Cut top leaf off and adhere to card using Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Adhere small flourish to stem where leaf was removed. Cover seam with small bow attached with a (rolled up) Glue Dot. Note: I used retired Gold Cord Trim. You can use the Gold Baker's Twine in the Baker's Twine Trio Pack.
