Sweet Sugarplum Christmas

Today is Heart's Delight Cards 8th blogaversary! I can't believe it's been eight years since starting this adventure. 'Time sure flies when you're having fun' couldn't be more true! I started blogging mainly so I could show my long-distance BFF (who I blame, er, credit for my obsession) what I was making. It still tickles me silly that other people actually take time out of their day to visit here. Thank you, whoever and wherever you are!

Continuing my love for non-traditional Christmas colors, this sweet card uses Sweet Sugarplum and coordinating colors. That ruched ribbon didn't come that way - you can do it yourself by pulling up a thread on each side of the ribbon. It works really well with the ribbons in the Glitter Ribbon Combo Pack. Easy peasy!

Here's the "How To"
 Reindeer: Whisper White Thick 2" x 3"
 DSP background: Fruit Stand 3-3/4" x 5"
Mat behind DSP: Whisper White 4" x 5-1/4"
Card base: Sweet Sugarplum 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored and folded at 4-1/4"
  1. Stamp medallion in Sweet Sugarplum on DSP. Pull up threads to gather ribbon and adhere to DSP, wrapping ends to back.
  2. Attach DSP to white mat, and then to card base.
  3. Stamp reindeer in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White Thick and die-cut using reindeer from Santa's Sleigh Framelits. Attach to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. Stamp greeting from Greetings From Santa in Rich Razzleberry below ribbon.
