QUICK REMINDER!

If you have Bonus Days Coupon Codes, today is the last day to use them!

Boho Birthday for my Friend

Saturday was my friend's birthday. We won't say which one, but let's just say she is retired, LOL. (I didn't disclose names or ages, girlfriend!)

She's a flower-loving gal like myself, and her favorite color is red, so I used the Boho Indigo Product Medley but with Poppy Parade instead of Night of Navy.

The flowers are part of the collection, but they're white. It is easy peasy to change them to whatever shade you want with Stampin' Blends! To achieve the glazed ceramic look on the vase, I inked the stamp with VersaMark first, then added the Poppy Parade ink with a sponge dauber, stamped it and heat embossed with Clear powder.

Stamp Review Crew - Forever Fern

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Forever Fern edition! The "Crew" is made up of a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Nikki's blog, My Sandbox, welcome! There are eleven of us today, so there should be lots to inspire you!

I'm sure you've seen lots of cards using the Forever Fern bundle and the Forever Greenery Suite. It's such an amazingly beautiful and versatile set that has been getting lots of love from happy crafters. And I am no exception - the three cards I have to share today make the 13th, 14th, and 15th time I've used this bundle. That's very unusual for me!

The first card is a CAS layout using both stamped/die cut pieces and a die cut from the DSP. Because Forever Fern is a DistINKtive stamp, I used sponge daubers to ink the rubber so as to preserve the details. Embossed Vellum cardstock makes a simple background and the gold hoop really makes the HELLO pop.

The next card relies on the gorgeous Forever Greenery DSP and Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. It's heavenly, and so easy to put together a quick, fabulous card!

I added some Shaded Spruce splats (stamped off once) to the DSP for more "texture" and a couple of Soft Sea Foam leaf sprigs to the greeting panel. The Shaded Spruce mat behind the greeting is popped up on dimensionals for added depth.

My last card is a wee bit over the top. I got carried away with all the goodies in the suite and just started layering and building it up. I think the only product missing is the gold hoops, LOL.

I did borrow the white ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season trim pack, because the Very Vanilla from this suite didn't look right. But that gold cord sure does! Helpful hint: Tie two knots in the cord on either side of where you want to cut....it unravels easily!

That's my share for today, so jump on over to see what Jay at Mitosu Crafts has made!

Saturday Thinking Of Fall

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is "Thinking of Fall" and we are starting to see signs of it all around here! I can't wait....it's my favorite time of year!

I wanted to feature the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Paper but I haven't gotten the stamp set and matching punches yet. So I came up with my own greeting (I do live in the South, you know) using the Making a Difference photopolymer stamp set. I stamped the greeting in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla cardstock, then adhered it to a Mint Macaron mat.

After adding some color to the DSP with Stampin' Blends, a Copper foil frame was made with Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhered to the DSP, then they were popped up on dimensionals and adhered to the mat.

Copper and Gold foil leaves (Gathered Leaves Dies) and a Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon bow colored with a Dark Mint Macaron Stampin' Blend were added. Then everything was attached to the Cinnamon Cider card base.

That's my share for today. Now click the Next button to jump to Libby Fens at Libby Stamps, or the Back button to see what Mary Brown at Stamper Camper's Corner made!
