Stamp Review Crew - Wildlife Wonder Bonus Hop

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Wildlife Wonder edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday like today! If you landed here from Holly's blog, welcome! There are four of us today so it will be a quick hop.

Wildlife Wonder is a ten piece cling (red rubber) set with fab outdoorsy images which are perfect for guy cards. With several male birthdays coming up, I made two birthday cards for today's hop.

For the first one, I blended Misty Moonlight onto a Boho Blue card base. A 2" x 4-1/4" piece of Boho Blue was embossed (Metal Plate 3D) and matted on Basic White before being adhered to the front.

I used the 2-3/8" circle punch to create a mask with copy paper. After the wolf was stamped through the opening I used Blending Brushes to add a Misty Moonlight sky and Pebbled Path boulder. This was then die cut (Stylish Shapes Dies) and popped up on dimensionals.

The greeting was stamped and fussy cut and added with more dimensionals.

For the second card, I stamped the bear using Early Espresso (with a Basic Gray shadow underneath) and die cut him with Countryside Corners Dies. The Black & White Gingham Ribbon was colored with a Light Pecan Pie Stampin' Blend and stapled on.

The bear was popped up on Pecan Pie Glorious Gingham DSP and then popped on Basic Black, both also die cut.

The background was embossed with the crosshatch Basics 3D folder, and after stamping the greeting, the ends were cut with the Banners Pick-A-Punch. Some Rustic Metallic Dots were added to complete the card.

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Terri created, or "Previous" to visit Holly again. Thanks for stopping by!

CCM Saturday Hop - Cut a Rug

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is "Cut a Rug" featuring our favorite new annual catalog dies. This week my favorite dies are the Darling Details. Next week it might be something else, but this week I'm in love with the eyelet frames. 😊

I think Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon, and Pool Party are a great combination, and for a pop of brighter color Crushed Curry and Granny Apple Green pair nicely.

I didn't think this card needed any embellishments because the dies do all the work!

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori at Loritamarie Crafts.

CCM Saturday Hop - BLING!

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is to bring on the bling using our favorite NEW embellishments. I'm kind of partial to the new In Color Dots AND the Sheer Ribbon Combo pack, so I used both on this card!

I started by making a background using an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask, some Blending Brushes, and a Moody Mauve/Boho Blue combination. It was adhered to the Moody Mauve card base, and the Darling Details eyelet die was used to cut the Boho Blue cardstock. I used the eyelet die again on Basic White for the center greeting panel (saving the frame for later!) and matted the frame and center on Moody Mauve.

After stamping and die cutting the flowers, they were popped up on mini dimensionals and the dots were added. After the card was assembled, I felt like it needed more bling (big surprise, huh?) so I used the Light Moody Mauve Stampin' Blend to color the Bubble Bath sheer ribbon to match. I think the silver thread edges added the perfect amount of eye-catching shine!0

Planting a Garden with the Control Freaks

The Freaky theme this month is Plant a Garden, using any flowers or plants. It should be fun to see everyone's "green thumbs" this month.  If you landed here from Melissa's blog, welcome! There are five of us gardening today.

You just know I had to go with flowers, didn't you? This theme gave me the opportunity to ink up the new Darling Details set, and play with the awesome dies that coordinate. I love eyelet lace, and these frame dies make the perfect delicate surrounding on a card.

I went with bold colors for the first card, using Berry Burst and Calypso Coral as the main colors. 😮 This is a little out of my comfort zone, but I like the way it turned out!

The background is Bright & Beautiful 6x6 DSP, the Happy Birthday is from Biggest Wish, and I added a few 2023-2025 In Color Dots to bling it up a bit.

The second card was easy-peasy since the only stamping involved was the greeting (Copper Clay). The beautiful daisies pattern is found in the Fresh as a Daisy DSP pack.

The DSP was framed with the large eyelet frame and adhered to a Copper Clay card base to match the daisy centers. I unraveled some Boho Blue Textured Ribbon and used just a few threads to make the bow. I thought the daisies needed something more delicate. The greeting tag is from the Nested Essentials Dies.

Stamp Review Crew - Cheerful Daisies

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Cheerful Daisies edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Jay's blog, welcome! There are eight of us today and we are welcoming some NEW crew members, too, so be sure to check out all the creativity!

Cheerful Daisies is a 15 piece photopolymer (Two-Step) stamp with a coordinating 14 piece die set.

I have a simple card to share today. I started by stamping Crushed Curry daisy outlines on Lemon Lolly cardstock, and then used Daffodil Delight for the filler stamps.

The leaves are Mossy Meadow stamped on Basic White and the greeting was stamped with Misty Moonlight ink the die cut with the label die.

That's all I have to share for today, thanks for stopping by! Click "Next" to visit new Crew member Terri Tank, or "Previous" to visit Jay again.
