CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Favorite New Bundle 2025

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is our favorite bundle from the new catalog. Surprisingly (to me, anyway), my favorite bundle is Notes & Totes! I'm not much into beachy things, but for some reason this just caught my fancy.

I started by masking off a horizon on Basic White, and used Blending Brushes with Coastal Cabana, Pretty Peacock, and Azure Afternoon to make the water and sky background.

Some Basic Beige was torn to make the sandy beach, with the greeting stamped in Pecan Pie. Then it was a matter of "building" the tote and accessories, and adding the tree leaves (Citrus Blooms dies) peeking in from the corner! No embellishments needed for this card - the die cut details are enough!

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Libby can't make it this week, so up next is Melissa Davies at Rubber FUNatics. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.

CSF Thursday Challenge - CSF868

This week's Create With Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge are the colors Darling Duckling, Misty Moonlight, and Fresh Freesia. Since I needed a card to send to Mom for Mother's Day, that is what I made.

The 4' x 5-1/4" white background was embossed with the new Damask Designs folder and adhered to the card base. Then the floral image from Layers of Beauty was stamped (Basic Gray) on white, and the colors added with the coordinating masks and Blending Brushes. The Fresh Freesia roses are so pretty with the contrast of the Darling Duckling daisies! I used Soft Sea Foam for the greenery so it wouldn't conflict with the other colors.

The sentiment and tag were borrowed from the Delightful Wishes bundle, and some white Baker's Twine was colored with the Light Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blend to coordinate with the greeting and card base.

I'm loving those In Color Flat Pearls!

CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Favorite New In Color 2025

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is our favorite new 2025-2027 In Color. Right now I'd have to say it's Could Cover. It's such a beautiful muted blue gray, it's almost like a neutral. And it pairs well with so many other colors! These photos don't do it justice. It's really more blue than the pictures show.

For this card, I used Early Espresso ink for the leafy branches, stamped on Cloud Cover and fussy cut. The greeting was stamped with the same color and die cut with an Unbounded Love die.

They were all adhered with dimensionals to the Cloud Cover card base, which had first been embossed with one of the Glass & Gardens embossing folders. I used the Cloud Cover Stampin' Write Marker to color the white ribbon for the bow, and added In Color Flat Pearls to embellish.

That's all for today - see you next Saturday! Up next is Libby Fens at Libby Stamps. Or click the "back" button to go back to Lori de Groot at Loritamarie Crafts.
