Stamp Set of the Week - A Touch of Ink

My apologies for this being posted so late in the day. My cat, Pumpkin, has a very unhappy tummy today and he's been extra needy for attention and snuggles. How could I say no to the poor thing?

This week's SOTW is the Sale-a-Bration stamp set A Touch of Ink. I wanted to use the butterfly, hummingbird, and the flower images, and the only way I could cram them all on one card is by making it a slim line card. Hey, it worked, right?!

The images were stamped in Early Espresso ink, then colored with the Stampin' Blends listed below. They were then die cut with the largest square in the Stitched Shapes Dies and matted on a strip of Pear Pizzazz before adhering to the card base. The greeting is from the Happy Thoughts set and was die cut with one of the Ornate Frames Dies (and shortened by die cutting twice). I also cut & colored an extra butterfly wing to add more depth. You sure can't see it in these photos!

Measurements

  • White card base 7" x 8-1/2" scored & folded at 3-1/2"
  • Pear Pizzazz mat 2-7/8" x 8-1/2"
