Stamp Review Crew - Sale-a-Bration Bonus!

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's bonus Sale-a-Bration hop! Since SAB is a bit shortened (because there will be another one later this year) we are adding a couple bonus hops focusing on Sale-a-Bration sets so you won't miss out on thee goodies. The "Crew" is made up of a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday - - - or a Sale-a-Bration! If you landed here from Linda's blog, Stampin' Seasons, welcome! There are eleven of us today, so there should be lots to inspire you!

I picked the Punch Party Host photopolymer stamp set because there are a ton of very useful sentiments that can be used with any DSP and other Stampin' Up! stamp sets. It has thanks, get well, baby, bravo, birthday, anniversary (or Valentine's), sorry (sympathy), and more!

My first card is for a boy baby, and uses the Sahara Sand foiled sheet in the Love You Always Specialty DSP. The greeting fits perfectly in the plain heart in the Heart Punch Pack, and the coordinating scalloped punch makes a nice mIsty Moonlight mat. Some of the leaves were filled in with the light Misty Moonlight Stampin' Blend. Helpful hint: when coloring the DSP with Blends, don't color all the way to the line or the ink will bleed outside. Let the ink flow over to it.

Here's a closer view of the shiny loveliness! A few Misty Moonlight Enamel Dots finished the card nicely.

Up next is a birthday card using the free Flower & Field Sale-A-Bration DSP. This was a quickie card dressed up with some Matte Black Dots and a bit of ribbon clipped on with a Clever Clasp. (The springs on those things are strong!)

The scroll-y outline and greeting fit perfectly in the Double Oval Punch in the new mini catalog.

That's my share for today, so jump on over to see what my friend Heidi at RunningwScissors Stamper has made!
