Second Saturday Step Up

Today's Second Saturday Step Up theme is a birthday one, because my baby girl turns FORTY today! And did you know there is a stamp set that you can order that's not in the catalog? It's called Four Season Floral and it's a 7 piece photopolymer set that's only $14! This is the set I'm using today, since my daughter loves growing roses.

The first card is great for a beginning stamper who doesn't have a lot of tools like a cut & emboss machine. This is just simple stamping, coloring the image with an ink pad and sponge daubers, or even cotton swabs if they don't have daubers. Layer it on a mat and some DSP and you're done - easy peasy! And if you don't like the yellows on this card, it would be equally lovely in red, pink, blue, or purple!

The second card for a casual stamper is just about as easy, but with the addition of black mats to make everything pop. Still keeping it simple, though, with no embellishments. All they would need is paper, ink & daubers/cotton swabs, stamps and a paper trimmer.

The last card is for the avid stamper. She has the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, with the dies and embossing folders to step things up a couple notches. This card uses the same products as the previous card, but with die cuts and texture to make it really stand out.
