The SOTW this week is the gorgeous Blossoms In Bloom, and of course if you're going to get the stamp set, you must get the matching Many Layered Blossoms Dies (and save 10%)! This was one of the birthday cards sent to our daughter for her 40th b-day.
I started by cutting the "filler" die out of Shimmery White cardstock, because I knew that blending the ink on it with sponge daubers would be easy. Calypso Coral, Mango Melody, and Granny Apple Green ink was used. The overlay was cut from Copper Foil Sheets.
The colored die cut was adhered to a Subtle 3D embossed background with liquid glue. The overlay was, as well, using a nifty trick I want to share....
Put a glob of glue on a Silicone Craft Sheet and dab a Stamping Sponge in it to apply glue to the back of intricate die cuts.
