Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop
theme is Fall Leaves, and boy have they been falling here! I had the bright idea to use some real leaves and cut them with the Stitched Leaves Dies, but it didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. So on to Plan B - cardstock leaves!
The 3-3/4" x 5" embossed Pale Papaya background is popped up on dimensionals. The greeting was heat embossed on a 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" piece of Cajun Craze and adhered, then three 3/4" x 3-7/8" strips of DSP (Bumblebee, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze) were glued on top with the left sides even with the embossed background.
The leaves were die cut from Pale Papaya and colored with a Water Painter and ink. They were then over-painted with clear Wink of Stella for some shimmer and popped up on dimensionals. A few Bumblebee Matte Decorative Dots completed the card.
