CCM Saturday Blog Hop - Fall Colors

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is Fall Colors. We are juuuust past the peak here in East Tennessee, and the colors are starting to fade and fall.

I used the Watercolor Shapes rectangle to stamp Pale Papaya, Pumpkin Pie, and Real Red overlapping a little. The colors were too strong for what I had pictured in my head, so I added a piece of vellum on top. Once the colors were toned down a bit, I realized Blushing Bride coordinated beautifully!

I highly recommend using the Stamparatus when stamping on a slick surface like vellum. I always had trouble with the stamp sliding just a wee bit but the Stamparatus eliminates little scooch that handily!

That's my share for today. Libby is still with her mother, so click the Next button to jump over to Debbie Henderson at Debbie Henderson Designs, or the Back button to see what Mary Brown at Stamper Camper's Corner has made!
