Stamp Review Crew - Simply Succulents

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Simply Succulents edition! The "Crew" is made up of a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Mike's blog, Stampin-Style, welcome! There are six of us today, so it will be a short hop....but with lots to inspire you!

Simply Succulents is an eight piece cling stamp set, with a thirteen piece coordinating die set called Potted Succulents. And while the stamps and dies will be carried over to the new annual catalog, the 10% discount on the bundle won't. So if you want the bundle, get it now and save!

I have two cards to share today. The first uses some yummy new Ombre Specialty Paper as the background for the potted succulents. I think the Mango Melody really makes the Soft Succulent Aloe Vera plant pop!

I added white dots with a chalk marker because my aloe has polka dots, LOL. And I added a little more glitz with some Genial Gems.

The next card uses the large background die (Soft Succulent on the Evening Evergreen card base). The cluster of succulents was stamped in Evening Evergreen on Soft Succulent cardstock, and some color and shading was added with Stampin' Blends and the chalk marker.

I didn't think it needed any gems, but some gold cord dressed it up a bit.

That's my share for today, so jump on over to see what Bronwyn at AddINKtive Designs has made!
