Here is the tutorial for the week, featuring Handmade for You.
Supplies:
• Stamp Sets: Handmade for You (154494)
• Ink: Early Espresso (147114), Basic Gray (149165)
• Paper: Very Vanilla (101650), Smoky Slate (131202)
• Accessories: Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653), Stitched with Whimsy Dies (155314), Stitched Be Mine Dies (151814), All Dressed Up Dies (151665), Pearls Basic Jewels (144219), Very Vanilla Scallop Lace Trim (149593), Forever Greenery Trim (152475) Fine Art Ribbon (154561), Mini Glue Dots (103683), Tear & Tape Adhesive (138995), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)
Measurements:
• Card Base: Very Vanilla 4 ¼” x 11”
• Cardstock #2: Very Vanilla 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” plus scraps for die cuts
• Cardstock 3#: Smoky Slate scrap for scissors die cut
Instructions:
• Cut a 4 ¼” x 11” Very Vanilla card base. Fold in half.
• Cut a 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” Very Vanilla card panel.
• Cut using the two large Stitched with Whimsy dies.
• Adhere the panel to the card front.
• Cut a 4 1/8” piece of Very Vanilla Scallop trim and Fine Art ribbon.
• Gently pull apart the Fine Art ribbon so it looks “shabby”.
• Adhere both ribbons to the card front using Tear Tape.
• Cut the hearts from Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Stamp the sentiment onto the heart using Early Espresso ink.
• Wrap the gold thread around three fingers (3x). Gently pull off and pinch in the center.
• Adhere the thread to the BACKSIDE of the heart using glue dots.
• Adhere the hearts to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Stamp the scissor image onto Smoky Slate cardstock using Basic Gray ink. Cut.
• Adhere the scissors to the heart.
• Cut (1) large and (2) small buttons from Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Adhere the buttons to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Tie a knot in the gold thread and adhere to the center of the buttons using glue dots.
• Adhere (5) pearls randomly to the card front.
