Sorry I'm late. Today's tutorial features the adorable Baby Pull Toys in the Jan-Jun Mini catalog (retiring June 30th). I don't have any occasions to make kid cards, but I know many of you do so here you go!
Supplies:
• Stamp Sets: Baby Pull Toys (154537)
• Cardstock: Early Espresso (119686), Basic White (159276), Brights Designer Series Paper (152487)
• Ink: Early Espresso (147114), Black Memento (132708)
• Stampin’ Blends Combos: Bermuda Bay (154878), Daffodil Delight (154883), Basic Black (154843), Pumpkin Pie (154897), Smoky Slate (154904), Soft Suede (154906)
• Tools & Accessories: Layering Circles Dies (151770), Pearls (144219), Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (149653)
Measurements:
• Card Base: Early Espresso 11 x 4 ¼ score at 5½
• Cardstock #2: Basic White 4” X 5 ¼”
• Cardstock #3: Daffodil Delight Designer Paper 3 7/8” X 5 1/8”
• Cardstock #4: Basic White 4” X 5 ¼”
• Cardstock #5: Daffodil Delight Designer Paper ¾” X 4”
• Cardstock #6: Basic White 2” X 2”
• Cardstock #7: Early Espresso 2 ¼” X 2 ¼”
Instructions:
• Fold your card base in half to create your card.
• Using the 2 1/8” Circle Die; die cut the Daffodil Delight Designer Paper #3 as shown.
• Place your die cut piece of Daffodil Delight Designer Paper over the Basic White #2 piece centering it. Using a pencil lightly draw the die cut circles.
• Remove the Daffodil Delight Designer Paper and stamp your images shown using Black Memento ink within the perimeter of the circles.
• Color in your images using the Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede Blends.
• Erase your pencil marks and adhere to your card front.
• Adhere the Daffodil Delight Designer Paper to your card front.
• On a piece of Basic White card stock #6 stamp your sentiment using Early Espresso ink. Die cut out using the 1 5/8” Circle Die.
• Attach to an Early Espresso card stock #7 scallop circle created using the 1 ¾” Scallop Circle die.
• Attach to your card front as shown using dimensionals.
• Color 3 big Pearls using the Daffodil Delight Dark Blend and 3 big Pearls using the Soft Suede Dark Blend.
• Attach your Pearls to the card front as shown.
• On the Basic White card stock #4 adhere the strip of Daffodil Delight Designer Paper #5 to the bottom edge.
• In the upper left hand corner stamp one of your Pull Toy images and color in with the Blends.
• Attach to the inside of your card.
