My son-in-law is a truly awesome handyman. I don't think there is anything that guy can't do if he sets his mind to it. His latest project has been turning their downstairs den into a media room/man cave/bar. He's a tile setter by trade, which has come in very handy with their home renovations.
He is also a man that appreciates a fine adult beverage on occasion, and as soon as I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to get it. Pairing it with the tile pattern in the In Good Taste DSP was a no-brainer.
I don't know if he has a fancy decanter for his whiskey, but my daughter did say he had gotten some fancy glasses. I thought the gold cord and monogram with their last initial added some class. š Anyway, I just wanted to send a little sunshine his way and let him know I think he's a swell guy.

Love your card. Your whiskey is beautifully colored! I've been working on a similar card and playing with combinations of blends trying to get the whiskey close. I'll have to see if I can make it work with this blend combo. Did you use both lt/dk of each color?
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm just now responding. Yes, i did use the light and dark. Started with the light and kept blending a little more dark at a time.
DeleteGreat card. I love the little guy making the martini below the explanation.
ReplyDeleteHe is kind of funny, isn't he? :D
DeleteLove this card! I really like how you colored the whiskey and personalized the decanter. In my younger days when I entertained friends, I had a set of decanters with a label for each one stating what alcohol was inside. Very cool idea, and I hope you won’t mind if I borrow it when I make my Whiskey business cards. šš½ Thank you for fun inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI’m so happy it inspired you! And I don’t mind at all if you “borrow” the label idea for your cards. It was one of those rare instances where I had a great idea, LOL!
