Happy Halloween! PCC216

I don't make Halloween cards much and, in fact, didn't even buy the Halloween DSP this year. I know *gasp!*, I actually passed on some cute paper. Okay, pick yourself up off the floor....my addiction isn't that bad. I knew it wasn't going to get used, so I was strong and resisted the urge, lol. I did, however, buy most of the adorable Halloween stamp sets, because my resistance isn't without its limits, you know.

Which lead me to a little dilemma.....how could I sub something for Halloween DSP on this card? I was following this week's sketch over at Paper Craft Crew.

I could have made my own patterned paper using the bats or ghosts in Spooky Fun, but I went the easy route and pulled out some retired Washi Tape. Threw down a few strips of tape, ran it through Mr. Big with an embossing folder, and boom, cute background for my focal point!

In addition to the retired Washi Tape, I also use some retired Black Glimmer paper. I didn't get any of the orange glimmer paper in the holiday catalog, either. I must be running a fever, or something!
