The name of this stamp set is so meaningful to me, because I received it as a gift from my up-upline, Natalie. She is so thoughtful, and makes her stamping family feel appreciated all the time. I get warm fuzzies thinking about it!
Anyway, this is the card I made and immediately put in the mail to her to show my appreciation. I heat embossed the floral image in gold on watercolor paper. It was then painted with a water brush using Mango Melody, Calypso Coral, and Mossy Meadow. I started light, and kept adding layers of color to deepen the shadowy parts.
It was fussy cut and after adding some loops of Old Olive ribbon behind it, I popped it up on dimensionals over the die cut lace. The greeting banner was cut with the Banner Triple punch and slipped under the blossom, with a little gold butterfly to accent it.
Kind of simple, and kind of elegant at the same time. I hope she likes it!
