Changing things up a bit today with this CAS In The Pines card. NO bling, NO shiny stuff, NO embellishments of any kind. Whaaa?! And no, I'm not running a fever, LOL.
I just wanted to see if I could actually do it. I think it turned out pretty well, but I may have gone overboard with the texture. What do you think?
After watercolor washing the background, I let it dry, then stamped some spatters. It was embossed with the Tasteful Textures folder, matted on Just Jade, and adhered to the card. I cut the rectangle and embossed it with one of the Wrapped in Texture folders, then the tree was die cut from Just Jade and glued to the rectangle. After stamping the greeting (Shaded Spruce) it was die cut and glued over the tree trunk, then the whole thing was popped up on dimensionals.
