The Stamp Review Crew - This Little Piggy Edition

 http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/08/this-little-piggy.html

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew hop featuring the This Little Piggy stamp set! The Stamp Review Crew is an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who get together on the first and third Mondays of the month to feature our take on a single stamp set. The number of participants may vary with each hop, but ideas and inspiration are sure to abound!

If you are hopping from the beginning, you have arrived from Bronwyn's blog, Addinktive Designs. Weren't her piggies adorable? If you follow the links at the bottom of each stop, you'll take the full tour. Or, click on the banner above to see the entire blog roll.

This was one of those sets that I thought was really cute, but wasn't sure I could use it much. Boy, was I wrong! Have you heard the expression "I love you more than a little pink pig"? No? Well, I did just recently, and thought is was just the cutest thing, and it inspired this card!

This card was made specifically for a very special person - the one who first said that expression to me! I thought the "greater than" symbol was clever, if I do say so myself!

For the next card, I wanted to have the piggy holding a bunch of balloons instead of the flower. I think this would be a good birthday card for a guy, with the Wood Textures DSP, and the Pinewood Planks embossing.

Did you notice the foil sheet strip? That's not silver! That's the new Champagne Foil Sheets which are coming in the Holiday Catalog. It's a warm silver color - so pretty!

Well, that's all I have for this hop. Thanks so much for stopping by! Up next is Nancy at Iguanastamp - check out what she did with the piggies!

  1. Adorable cards, Cindy! I love the vellum balloons...perfect! And yep...I caught a glimpse of champagne foil! I have never heard the phrase "I love you more than a little pink pig", but you are so right about using the greater than sign. That was so clever!
