Painted Harvest Sneak Peek & PCC255 Challenge

Didja miss me? I fought my way out from under five gallon buckets of tomatoes and squash to post this card so you wouldn't forget about me, LOL!  Today I'm playing along with the Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge, and it's a good one!

This sunflower is from the charming Painted Harvest photopolymer stamp set that will be available September 1st. It has wonderful sentiments, a couple of two-step stamped leaves, an acorn and, of course, the sunflower.

Even though we are still in the middle of summer, there are some subtle signs of autumn beginning to show around here. I'm certainly looking forward to it, not only because harvesting and processing the veggies will end, but because fall weather is my favorite weather of all! Balmy days, and cool, crisp nights (and sweaters!), the trees turning fiery hues, fires in the wood stove.....ah, it's pure heaven!

Where was I? Oh yeah, this sunny sunflower card. *grin* The Wood Textures DSP makes a lovely backdrop for the image, and I love the rustic look of the burlap ribbon and jute twine (Holiday catalog item), too.

  1. Love it! I was concerned that the vegetables might be holding you hostage. It's been too quiet on the blog front.
