Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew hop featuring the This Little Piggy stamp set! The Stamp Review Crew is an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators who get together on the first and third Mondays of the month to feature our take on a single stamp set. This was one of those sets that I thought was really cute, but wasn't sure I could use it much. Boy, was I wrong! Have you heard the expression "I love you more than a little pink pig"? No? Well, I did just recently, and thought is was just the cutest thing, and it inspired this card!
This card was made specifically for a very special person - the one who first said that expression to me! I thought the "greater than" symbol was clever, if I do say so myself!
For the next card, I wanted to have the piggy holding a bunch of balloons instead of the flower. I think this would be a good birthday card for a guy, with the Wood Textures DSP, and the Pinewood Planks embossing.
Did you notice the foil sheet strip? That's not silver! That's the new Champagne Foil Sheets which are coming in the Holiday Catalog. It's a warm silver color - so pretty!
