Cheery Chirps, Inspiration Has Struck!

Okay, I don't have a card for you today, other than a hint of what I'm working on, but I just couldn't wait to share this idea! Occasionally (VERY occasionally), I have a flash of inspiration, and I haven't seen anyone do this before, so I'm going to show you what happened when two brain cells ran into each other in my head!

How many times have you stamped an image, started coloring it, and then tossed it because it didn't look as good as you had envisioned? Well, here is a way to test color ideas without wasting ANY cardstock! Just use your Stampin' Write Markers, or a Blender Pen and ink pads, and color directly on the cover of your stamp set!

You can test out color combinations to your heart's content, and just wipe them off with a baby wipe or damp paper towel and start over! Am I a genius, or WHAT?! Please don't burst my bubble and tell me someone else already thought of it, LOL. I truly never saw anything like it, so I'm claiming it!

These were just quickly scribbled on with markers to give me an idea of how the colors would work together; I didn't even bother trying to stay inside the lines. I did notice that the lighter colors come out very light on the plastic cover, so that's something to keep in mind when you go to use it on cardstock.

Anyhoo, that's my bright idear, hah har. It'll probably be another year before I come up with a new one. Have a great day!
