Stamp Review Crew - Birch

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Birch Background edition! The "Crew" is made up of a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. I'm the first stop on the hop, but if you landed here from Holly's blog, Rubber Redneck, welcome! There are six of us today, so the hop won't take too long, but it's sure to be inspiring!

The Birch background stamp can be used for just about any background, as I've shown here with the first card. I chose pink (Flirty Flamingo) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This card is dedicated to all the women who have battled and won, or are currently battling, the C beast.

The card also features a sneak peek at a new bundle called Blessings of Home. I got to pre-preorder it as an OnStage at Home participant. Just another perk of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!

Both the flowers and the sentiment are in the stamp set. This was the smaller of the two floral images.

My next (and last) card was made for my BFF's husband, who had a heart attack Friday night. 😟 Fortunately he's okay, but he had to have stents put in, and my poor BFF couldn't be with him in the hospital due to.... well, we all know.

Anyhoo, he's a really great guy and loves nature and the outdoors, so I think this card (that also uses the Nature's Beauty stamp set) is perfect for him. The greeting was borrowed from Blossoms In Bloom.

Since the card colors, aside from the image, were mainly white, black, and Crumb Cake, I got "knotty" with the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack. Heh. Thought it looked manlier than rhinestones or pearls. *grin*

That's all I have for today, so click NEXT to see what Nikki Spencer at My Sandbox has made!
