I'm having way too much fun with the Nature's Roots Framelits and Rooted in Nature stamp set! This was another quick and easy card using the leaf "fossils" produced by the Framelits.
I cut three pieces of watercolor paper 1-5/8" x 3-7/8" and embossed the leaves on them, changing the arrangement on each piece. (This is a terrific way to use up those odd scraps!) After embossing, they were adhered to a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Wood Textures DSP, evenly spaced. I found it was easier if I did the two outermost pieces first and then the middle piece. This was then fastened to a Very Vanilla card base.
The greeting was stamped in Early Espresso on a 1-1/4" x 5-1/8" piece of Very Vanilla, and Soft Suede leaves (stamped off twice each time) were added randomly. After tying the Grapefruit Grove twine, it was adhered to the card with dimensionals. Such a simple, pretty card!
