Not So Bad, After All!

The day that I dread every year has come, and I have to tell you - it's not nearly as bad as I had anticipated! In fact, with very few exceptions, I'd have to say it's all GOOD!

First of all, the carnage on my stamp shelf won't be as unpleasant as in years past, because Stampin' Up! decided to focus on a major revamp of their color selection. And that makes me absolutely giddy!

I'm going to post the link to the retiring lists for the Occasions Catalog and the 2017 Annual Catalog below. You may notice that ALL the colors of ink pads are on the list, but don't panic! It's because the ink pads themselves have also been reconfigured.

So, the list of ink styles/colors that are really retiring are:

Remember, if you want something from the retiring list, especially anything color related, get it a.s.a.p. because they always sell out before the official end of the catalogs. And if you get ink pads, don't forget to get refills for them!

Trust me, these pictures on your screen are not nearly as fabulous as the real thing! For my customers who have ordered from me within the past year, I will be sending the new annual catalog next month and will include an updated color chart with samples of each cardstock!

You may have noticed the conspicuous absence of Basic Black, Whisper White, and Very Vanilla. That's because they have their very own category now, called Basics. So when you add them all together, we will have 53 colors, instead of 50 as in years past!
