First of all, the carnage on my stamp shelf won't be as unpleasant as in years past, because Stampin' Up! decided to focus on a major revamp of their color selection. And that makes me absolutely giddy!
I'm going to post the link to the retiring lists for the Occasions Catalog and the 2017 Annual Catalog below. You may notice that ALL the colors of ink pads are on the list, but don't panic! It's because the ink pads themselves have also been reconfigured.
So, the list of ink styles/colors that are really retiring are:
- Basic Black and Basic Gray Archival inks
- 2016-2018 In Colors
- Chocolate Chip
- Island Indigo
- Tempting Turquoise
- Marina Mist
- Soft Sky
- Pink Pirouette
- Rose Red
- Wild Wasabi
- Always Artichoke
- Wisteria Wonder
- Perfect Plum
- Elegant Eggplant
- Tangerine Tango
Now, are you ready for the new revamped color families? Drum roll, please!
Take a gander!
You can click on it to make it larger. I'm so excited about the new greens, blues, and purples. And positively thrilled that some of my favorites have returned! Now are you ready to see the 2018-2020 In Colors? Lookie!
Trust me, these pictures on your screen are not nearly as fabulous as the real thing! For my customers who have ordered from me within the past year, I will be sending the new annual catalog next month and will include an updated color chart with samples of each cardstock!
You may have noticed the conspicuous absence of Basic Black, Whisper White, and Very Vanilla. That's because they have their very own category now, called Basics. So when you add them all together, we will have 53 colors, instead of 50 as in years past!
I'd love to know what you will miss the most on the retiring list. And what is your favorite new color?

Finally they got back a REAL light blue! Since they got rid of Bashful Blue, all the light blues have been on the green side. I may actually consider upgrading my colors to the new ones... it's about time, right?
ReplyDeleteYou should, Jill. The new pads are great, and they STACK!
