It's a tradition for Stampin' Up! demos to make little convention gifts for their downline or room mates. Since this was the first time either of my ladies have been to a SU event, I made little gift bags with some essentials that I knew they'd need. Things like a little decorated steno notebook for taking notes at the event, and a pack of sticky note flags for their new catalog. (I expect there won't be enough flags, LOL.)
Other essential items include a bottle of water and some mix-ins, a few snacks, and the all-important BAG TAG!
What happens when you go to a SU event and they hand out the awesome bags (with goodies!) to every attendee? You have hundreds of look-alike bags with no way to tell them apart!
There are so many variations on the bag tags, I can't even begin to name them ll. Everything from ribbons tied on, to laminated name tags, to hand crafted tags like these. The DSP and color on the bag tags coordinate with the hand crafted bags of essentials, giving a classy custom look. I sure had fun making them, and used some retired DSP and trinkets, too!
Stay tuned for big news tomorrow. The retiring list comes out. Duh duh DUHNNNN!
These are gorgeous, Cindy!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED my gift and the bag tag! Thank you so much. I had a great time at my very first On Stage!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you decided to come!
DeleteYour tags are beautiful. What did you use to make the flowers?
ReplyDeleteLeslie, thank you so much! I used the retired Succulents Framelits for the flowers. 😊
