2018 OnStage Atlanta

Heart's Delight Cards, Petal Palette, Thank You, Stampin' Up!

We made it to Atlanta, and are having a grand time! As promised, here are the swaps I made. I decided to go with two styles, trying to appeal to as many people as possible. Which one do you like better?

Before the big event starts, many demonstrators like to swap cards that they make specifically to swap with other demos. It's a great way to get new ideas, or to get a sample of a stamp set that we might not have. (I know, hard to believe, but most of us don't have ALL the stamps.....as much as we want them!)

The first card uses the beautiful Petal Palette Suite. This is one that we know for sure will be carrying over in the new annual catalog, so we don't have to worry about it being obsolete in a couple months.

I borrowed the sponge dauber coloring technique from the fabulous Patty Bennett. It sure made quick work of getting those images colored. Wish I had know about it years ago, because I seem to have an addiction to making swaps that involve a lot of coloring. Sheesh. Which leads me to my second swap card. One that I meticulously colored with a Blender Pen, because I hadn't seen Patty's technique yet.

That's okay, I do like to color. It's kind of relaxing and makes me happy. But when I'm doing a couple dozen, maybe not so much, haha. This one uses Flirty Flowers, which I don't know if it's a carry-over, but I DO know the Basket Weave embossing folder is!

Tonight is when the shenanigans may or may not happen....I'll let you know. Maybe. Tomorrow I will share the bag tags that I made for my two downline who came with me. Stay tuned!
