On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to meee.... a really sweet layered poinsettia tag! I used the flower in the Gina K. Designs Merry & Bright kit along with the greeting from the October Pining for Plaid Paper Pumpkin kit.
The large and small poinsettias were stamped in Real Red on Whisper White cardstock. The larger blossom was cut with the coordinating die in the Merry & Bright kit, as were the Garden Green stamped leaves. Then I fussy-cut the smaller blossom, leaving just center and the petals with the veins. A Mini Stampin' Dimensional fit perfectly underneath to give it a 3D look! I colored a small Gold Faceted Gem with the dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends alcohol marker to deepen the color, and plopped it in the center.
The Silver Edge Ribbon was tied with some retired Real Red Baker's Twine to complete the tag.
