Inky Friends Suite Designs Blog Hop

Welcome to this special edition of the Inky Friends where we are each featuring a different suite of products! You my have just landed here from Mickey at Paper Conversation where her focus was the Naturally Eclectic Suite. Weren't her creations gorgeous?! To take the whole tour, just click on the links at the bottom of each blog.

The suite I chose is the super versatile Colorful Seasons Suite. It can be used for any season, and includes the Colorful Seasons stamp set and coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits, as well as the Color Theory DSP stack, Glitter Enamel Dots, Mini Chevron Ribbons, AND the Memories & More Color Theory Card Pack! I'm starting with the card pack so you can see how quick and easy you can make a card, even if the pack was intended for memory keeping!

There is no stamping on it at all! The greeting was already printed on the cardstock, as was the snowflake pattern on the background. All I had to do was cut the greeting with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, add a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper mat, some snowflakes cut with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits, and some Glitter Enamel Dots to finish it off. Super simple!

I don't know about you, but I'm about done with the heat and humidity of summer, and I'm looking forward to chilly fall nights, and apple cider, and leaves changing. That was the inspiration for my next project, a simple but elegant card. After trimming the ombré Color Theory DSP to fit the card front, I used the leftover scrap to cut a couple of the filigree leaves, and added a Copper Foil leaf for some shine.

My last card continues the Autumn theme and uses the card pack again. The pre-printed leaves made this another quick and easy card. I stamped the greeting and added the Chocolate Chip mat, then used the coordinating pattern from the DSP pack for the background. To complete the card, some Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon was added, and a Chocolate Chip filigree leaf added balance. The products used on all these cards are listed below.

That's it for Colorful Seasons! Up next is Betty at Kitty Stamp, featuring the Wood Textures Suite. I know she's going to inspire you!
