Fresh Freesia

This pretty freesia blossom is from a (ahem, *cough* contraband) stamp set by Altenew. Freesias are near the top of my list of favorite flowers, so when my stamping friend said she had this set, I just had to stamp a bunch of them to color when we got together for our monthly stamparama. I love the elegant simplicity of the image, and the ten greetings that come with it are very versatile, as well!

I didn't want to go overboard with embellishments, but at the same time, I thought the card needed a little something. The embossing from the Delicate Details embossing folder set (retired) added just the right touch of subtle texture, without overpowering the image. I did some fussy-cutting along the embossed edge, then popped the whole panel up on dimensionals.

Long day yesterday, getting everything ready for the tax preparer. My brain was fried, so that's why this is a short post, with no "how to." Check back tomorrow....I should be recovered by then.
