SOTW Punch Party (Again)

This is the last card for this week's spotlight on Punch Party, and it's another one to add to the growing pile of 40 birthday cards. I did a Bermuda Bay watercolor wash on the Fluid 100 watercolor paper, let it dry, then embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D folder. It was matted on Basic Black and adhered to the Bermuda Bay card base.

The flower and greeting were stamped on a scrap of the same paper, colored with Stampin' Write Markers, and punched with the Double Oval Punch.

Some leaves from Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper were added behind the popped-up greeting, along with a few Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card.

Basic Black mat 3-5/8" x 4-7/8"
Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper 3-1/2" x 4-3/4"

SOTW Punch Party

Here's another idea for using the Punch Party stamp set. I got the idea from the greeting to make the hearts into smiley faces because I'm weird like that. I never know what is going to pop in my brain, LOL.

Normal-ly (heh) I'd use traditional colors but it somehow seemed right to go with bolder colors. Like I said, I never know what is going to pop in my head!

I stamped the hearts all over the card base in Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, and Granny Apple Green, then added the faces with a black Stampin' Write Marker. This is really just about the simplest, cute card you could make. The only way to make it simpler would be to stamp the greeting right on the card base instead of cutting it out and popping it on dimensionals.

Jan. 31 Stamp of the Week - Punch Party

Hey, stampers, here we are at the start of a new stamp showcase! This week it's the Punch Party Sale-a-Bration host set, and it will only be available for four more weeks! Can you believe how quickly SAB is flying by?!

I still have Valentine's Day on my mind, so I chose the heart greeting/image that coordinates with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch. I didn't punch the image, though. I cut closely around it with Paper Snips and then popped it on dimensionals on punched Basic White.

I just can't get enough of that gorgeous black and white True Love DSP! I used two of the patterns, randomly coloring some of the blossoms to match the Real Read ribbon and mat.

Black, white, and red are such a striking combination that I didn't think it needed any bling. *GASP!*

Heart to Heart

Here's another card using this week's SOTW, Heart to Heart. Tulips are my daughter's favorite flower, and these blossoms are reminiscent of tulips, so they were just the ticket for this card. Those Resin Hearts Embellishments were colored with a Dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blend. Customizing embellies is so easy with Stampin' Blends!

Since this particular set doesn't have a birthday greeting, I inked up just one sentiment of the Many Messages stamp using a Stampin' Spot and Mossy Meadow ink refill. Those Stampin' Spots are so handy for this purpose, or when you're using a smaller stamp on the Stamparatus so you don't get ink everywhere.
