It's been a long time since I've played along with a Freshly Made Sketches challenge and this week's FMS #353 fit perfectly with what I had in mind for the adorable new Many Blessings stamp set. It's on page 46 of the Holiday Catalog, and it's easy to overlook, but don't let it slip past your peepers!
This thirteen piece photopolymer set was inspired by Million Sales Achiever Ruth Snyder, and it's simply sweet and adorable and FUN! First of all, because the images aren't too big, they are super quick to color. And the three main images cover three seasons (Summer, Autumn, and Winter), but I have an idea on how to use it for Spring, too! Check back tomorrow for more seasons using this stamp set.
The sketch challenge was for a square card, but they say at FMS if square isn't your thing, you can substitute another shape. Well, I think it's hip to be square, so I did a square on a square!
I think the golden sunflowers are so pretty in the Bermuda Bay vase and the Bermuda Bay Tin Tile embossed piece is perfect with the flowers! Clean and simple and fresh. The image was stamped in Gray Granite ink and colored with Stampin' Blends, then cut with a Stitched Shapes square. I used Washi tape to mask just the "thankful" part of the stamp, since I wanted to keep the clean look of the card.
