Well, here it is September 1st and I'm starting to feel the holiday pressure already. Of course, it's only because I make and mail about 100 cards, and I haven't really started that process yet. YIKES!
At today's Christmas Stamp-A-Stack, my ladies got a good start on their cards, though. We made twelve cards (four each of 3 designs) and this was one of the designs. The other cards used Winter Woods and Peaceful Noel. I'll share them later!
After stamping the greeting and the poinsettia boughs above it, the panel was run through the big Shot with the Subtle embossing folder. The deer was stamped and die cut, then glued in place. See the little glimmer bow on the deer's neck? That's the bow from the Alpine Sports Thinlits. It's the perfect size!
Today is also the start of the Dashing Along DSP promotion. This patterned paper coordinates with the Dashing Deer stamp set, as seen on the envelope flap and stamped deer at the top. You can get the Dashing Along DSP for FREE with a qualifying party or purchase!
The DSP contains twelve 12" x 12" sheets, and includes four sheets each of 3 double-sided designs - perfect for making those holiday cards! This promotion is only for the month of September, so when it's gone, it's gone for good.
Four more days until the HOLIDAY catalog begins!
