Happiest of Days

I almost forgot I had this new stamp set because there are so many shiny squirrels these days in my craft room. So many new things, so little time! Anyhoo, I needed to make a card to acknowledge a recent accomplishment and this set was perfect for the job.

I think it's mainly supposed to be for birthdays, but two of the sentiments can work for other occasions, too. The simple images are a snap to color. The rose was fussy-cut, but there wasn't a lot of detail to cut around, so it went quickly. In fact, it was so quick that I colored and cut four more to be used at a later time! (My bits box is overflowing again, lol.)

Lots of bling on this card - from the gold doily to the gold glimmer paper to the gold heart. One can never have too much bling. Well, maybe one can, but I think there's not too much here. If you like bling. Which I do.

This card is pretty straightforward - stamp the rose on Shimmery White, color and cut out. Stamp the vine and greeting. Adhere the doilies to the DSP. Wrap the ribbon around the DSP and adhere the DSP to the card base. Mat the greeting panel on the glimmer paper and attach to card. Add the rose (with dimensionals), bow (with glue dot), and heart. Boom, you're finished.
