Twelve Days of Christmas TAGS, Day 12

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to meeee....two tiny snowmen! Can you believe today is the last day of the Twelve Days of Christmas TAGS? I hope you have enjoyed seeing something new every day as much as I have enjoyed creating those new things!

These snowmen were colored the same day that I did the reindeer used on Day 3. I sure do love to color.....have I mentioned that lately?

Anyhoo, these tags used pretty much the same items as the reindeer tags with the exception of the background, which is Tranquil Tide.

And now I'll let you in on a little secret. All these tags, plus a few more, were because my BFF Barb (the one responsible for my addiction....*ahem* I mean hobby) suggested we each make some tags and exchange them. "Come on," she said, "it'll be FUN!"

At first I was reluctant, mainly because we don't have very many wrapped gifts to use them on at this point in our lives, but also because I was at a loss for ideas. Well, once I got going, and the ideas started flowing, it was hard to stop! So Barb, if you're reading this, THANKS for the kick in the butt I needed! Love you, Sweetie!

Twelve Days of Christmas TAGS, Day 11

I have to tell you, it was a huge shocker to me that the Quilt Builder Framelits are not carrying over. I have seen SO MANY cute things on Pinterest and Splitcoast Stampers using these dies that I thought for sure it was so popular that it would stay. Guess I was wrong!

The coordinating Christmas Quilt stamp set has some adorable little adornments for the quilt, like the blanket stitch border and star. And, of course, the greeting! I used the whole suite on this tag, right down to the Stitched Felt Embellishments!

Twelve Days of Christmas TAGS, Day 10

Isn't this just the sweetest little stocking? It uses the Trim Your Stocking Thinlits die, which is a 19 piece die set! Besides the stocking (with heel, toe, and cuff pieces), there's a pillow box (great for treats!), snowflake, bell, star, holly leaves, mistletoe sprig, heart, tag, and trim pieces for the cuff. Sadly, this is not one of the items that is going to carry over, and it will only be available until January 2nd - unless it sells out before then!

The Year of Cheer Specialty DSP is also "while supplies last" as is the Tinsel Trim used here. Darn retiring items. Well, my consolation is the new things that are coming in the Occasions catalog next month. And the man in brown brought me a big box of goodies from that catalog on Tuesday!

Twelve Days of Christmas TAGS, Day 9

Here we are already on Day 9 of the Twelve Days! It is scary how fast the days are zipping by, isn't it? Seriously!

For the ninth tag, I used Merry Little Labels again, and combined the coordinating punch with the Lots of Labels Framelits dies. They work so well together! The greeting was stamped twice (Real Red & Old Olive), then the red tag was split and adhered over the olive tag.

The Corrugated Paper (retired) is light enough that it cuts easily with the die. I did shorten it a bit by putting it through the Big Shot a second time, trimming about 1/4" off. That made it fit better behind the Merry Little Christmas DSP layer. The rustic feel was livened up a bit with the Year of Cheer Embellishment trinket.
