CSF Saturday Blog Hop - Leaves or Trees

Today's Create With Stamping Friends Saturday Hop theme is leaves or trees, and that gave me the perfect excuse to use the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies with the new Stampin' Hot Foil System. I really tried to resist getting it, but resistance was futile - the magpie in me was lured in by the pretty, shiny things. 😍

For this card, I first used the hot foil dies to make leaves (shown below, to be used on a future project), and then used the leftover piece of copper foil with the Reverse Hot Foil Die, on the darker side of Basic Black Two-tone cardstock, to make the leaves shown here. That die set includes an outline die to cut all the leaves out, too!

Measurements

• Card base: Basic Black 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored/folded at 4 1/4"
• Layer 1:  Copper Metal Effects Specialty Paper 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
• Layer 2: Crisp Cantaloupe 3 3/4" x 5" (embossed) 

Copper foil on the lighter side of Pumpkin Pie Two-tone Cardstock.
