Wahooo! Can you believe it's almost time for the new Occasions catalog, AND Sale-A-Bration?! The Freaks have some sneak peeks to share this month to get you excited for January 3rd, when YOU can order from the new catalog! I'm the first stop on the hop, but you may have landed here from Melissa, The Stamp Doc. There are only five of us this go-round (busy time of year!), so follow the link at the bottom to go to the next stop.
I'm focusing on the Happy Tails bundle, as well as a couple other new items. It's an adorable sixteen piece photopolymer stamp set with a Dog Builder Punch to match! I love supporting my local animal shelter, and I plan to make a bunch of cards that they can use to thank their generous donors, but also to (possibly) sell for extra $$. Every little bit helps! Up first is a card that uses the new Rectangle Stitched Framelits (SO happy we have them now!) and a bit of Classic Garage DSP.
I love how the framelits make stitches on both the die cut AND the negative left behind. That's what I used to frame these sweet doggies. Their body language is so totally my dog when she's sitting pretty for a treat!
And, of course I had to dress up the envelope flap with more muddy paw prints!
My next card uses the piece that was cut out from the first card. I colored the background with a Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends marker to make it pop a little more. (I swear that dog is saying, "I see you have treats; I also like treats! I'm sitting very pretty so please give me a treat!)
The Poppy Parade heart is also part of the Dog Builder Punch, and how appropriate is that greeting?! They certainly do leave paw prints on our hearts...and the floor, and the car seat, and..... Good thing they are so lovable!
This card uses some Lemon Lime Twist Gingham Gala DSP for just a touch of color, and also to dress up the envelope flap.
