Did you notice that Stampin' Up! has come up with a new kind of stamp? It's called Distinktive stamps, and they give the look of two-step stamping without the work! It's such a whole new type of red rubber stamp that they have a patent pending, and being red rubber, it is available in wood-mount and clear-mount! I counted five stamp sets in the new catalog (unless I missed one), and this set, Healing Hugs, is one of them. You'll be able to identify them because they have a symbol to the right of the stamp info on the page. Hint: They're on pages 101, 110, 151, 153, and 157. You're welcome.
I had some fun with this one doing a bit of fussy cutting. Even though the stamped image already has a lot of depth, I wanted to add a little more because more is almost always better, right? Right!
There are several new products used on the card - from the new In Colors DSP to the new Rose Glimmer Paper, to the Tufted Dynamic embossing folder. Sadly, I didn't get the lighting right to really show off the texture of that folder. It's beautiful, and makes a great background for many things!
I was so happy to see that SU added a good "Get Well" stamp set this year. We've been kind of needing something new for a while, and this one certainly fills the need!
