Using up more useful bits today, and I wanted to show you my "Oops!" moment that lead to a slightly different look for the card.
I started out adhering the leftover Layered Leaves embossed piece (from this card) to an Early Espresso mat, and then laid leaves from the Box o' Useful Bits on top to get a feel for how I wanted to place them.
Then disaster struck! (cue intense movie music) Apparently my grip stuttered when I stamped the greeting, and this wasn't a case of an opportunity for embellishment. I could have stamped the greeting on a label and covered it, but that wasn't the look I was going for.
So, I added another mat; this time copper because copper makes everything better (as does chocolate, but that would have been messy) and moved the leaf panel down a little bit so I could stamp the greeting above it.
You can bet I was very, very careful this time! I think I like this "Oops!" card better than the one I had planned.
