Little Country Boys

This image reminds me so much of when our son was little, except we didn't have any geese (nasty tempered little buggers!). We did live, at one time, in a place where the landlady had a goose that used to chase and bite my kids. I wanted to wring its neck, but didn't in the interest of keeping my home, chickens, and veggie garden.

But this little boy, with the dirty bare feet, could have been my boy about thirty-five years ago. Put chickens in there instead of geese, make the kid towheaded with tan arms and shoulders, and that would be my boy!

Did you notice the Copper Trim? You can pull it apart along the edges and make it look like net!

This card was made for the Paper Craft Crew Challenge #249, which is a sketch this week:

  1. This is an outstanding card, Cindy. Great use of the stamp set and coloring. I never would've thought to pull apart the copper trim. TFS!
