Back to the Holiday at Hand

I admit it; Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I tend to get carried away with making Christmas things, dreaming about making Christmas things, and just in general diving headfirst into the whole holiday spirit.  Can't help myself....with or without the mistletoe, I'm obsessive compulsive in the holiday mood!

However, we do still have two holidays that come first, so today I'm sharing some little Halloween treats.

  • These were so quick and easy to make!  Start with 2-3/4" x 4" cardstock.  You can get 8 of these out of one sheet of CS.
  • Score the short side at 1/4", 3/4", and 1-1/4".
  • Rotate and cut a slit 1/2" from each side (from the 1/4" score line to the 1-1/4" score line).
  • Fold as shown and slip the candy in.
  • Add a DSP mat and decorate as desired!
Apologies for the blurry photos.  I have a new camera and haven't figured out the settings for the best quality yet.  Apparently the settings that worked for my old Nikon don't do it for my new Nikon.

Update on my mom - it doesn't look like the cancer has spread to the ovaries, thank God.  Your prayers and well wishes have been most appreciated!

  5. Hi there--I love your blog. Your cards are amazing. I too am addicted to paper arts and have been stamping for several years. I just started a blog and I hope that when I get it going more that it will look as good as your. I will be back often to follow your work. My blog is Harpo's Cards but like I said there is not much on it yet.
