One of my stamping friends ordered this stamp set, and was looking for ideas for using it. This is one that I came up with:
Stamp: A Wish for Peace
Cardstock: Whisper White, Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist
Ink: Marina Mist, VersaMark
Accessories: White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Heat Tool, Tinsel Trim, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Scallop Trim Corner Punch, Perfect Polka-Dots Embossing Folder, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine
And the other one:
Stamp: A Wish for Peace
Cardstock: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Marina Mist
Ink: Night of Navy, Marina Mist, So Saffron marker
Accessories: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Basic Rhinestones, Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Smooch Pearlized Top Coat (on church steeple), Frost White Shimmer Paint (used with Aqua Painter for snow in foreground), Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (sponged lightly over all), sponges
Camera settings are still in the experimental stage, but getting better, I think. Thanks for stopping by today!
Cindy,
ReplyDeleteYour cards are lovely and makes me want to enjoy the winter months a lot more! Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteYour card is exquisite! I love this one. This would be the card that I mailed this year! It really speaks peace to me.
Bee-utiful!! Makes me sad to think of my supplies all boxed up while we're heading into the Christmas season! I will just drool over yours.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! How did you do the background for the 2nd card? Is that a brayer? Just love it!!
ReplyDeleteJamie, the background was sponged on with Marina Mist and Night of Navy (after masking the image). Then Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint was lightly sponged all over the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteCindy these cards are gorgeous and I especially love the second one. Stunningly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThese are both amazing -- the second card is a great example of how effective sponging is when done right! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely spectacular! I love the idea of weaving the tinsel through the punched border!
ReplyDeleteWow! Just lovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...elegant and amazing!
ReplyDeleteWOW Cindy! Beautiful cards!!!
ReplyDeleteImpressive-Gorgeous cards!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh they are so pretty! Love the snow effect on the 2nd one. Must must give it a try!
ReplyDeleteMagnificent cards! Especially the sponged one. But I really like how you used the tinsel on the first one too!
