Stamp Review Crew - Grassy Grove

Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew's Grassy Grove edition! The "Crew" is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world who pick a stamp set or bundle to highlight on the first and third Mondays of each month, with a bonus hop if there is a fifth Monday. If you landed here from Mike's Stampin-Style blog, welcome! There are six of us today, but if you get lost, just click the Stamp Review Banner to see the whole list of blogs.

Grassy Grove is a 9 piece cling stamp set that has a coordinating 10 piece die set called Grove Dies. It's in the Jan-Jun mini catalog, and I'm happy to say it is carrying over to the 2022-2023 annual catalog, as is the bundled savings!

For the first card I used the tree frame die to cut the front of the card base, then embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D folder (which is retiring today!). I added the New Horizons DSP scenery inside with some added greenery and trees stamped on.

The deer was stamped in Soft Suede on Crumb Cake cardstock, die cut, and adhered inside.

For the second card I tried to go for a clean and simple (CAS) look. I started by buffing a sunny background with Blending Brushes using Mango Melody, Calypso Coral, and Balmy Blue right on the card base.

Next I inked up the stamps with Stampin' Write markers and die cut with them with the matching dies. After adhering them to the card base, I felt it needed something, and bling wasn't the answer, so I borrowed the birds from Let's Set Sail. The greeting is die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies that are in the new annual catalog that starts tomorrow!

That's all I have to share for today, so click "Next" to see what Betty at Kitty Stamp created, or "Previous" to visit Mike again!
