Saturday Favorite Christmas

Today's Create With Connie & Mary Saturday Blog Hop theme is "Favorite Christmas Set" and I just could NOT make up my mind on which set to use until late last night. There are too many favorites! (I sure hope some of them will carry over to the new annual catalog next year.) So, after looking through my photo library and seeing I've used this set almost twenty times, I settled on the In The Pines photopolymer set with the coordinating dies. Sadly, I know this set is retiring, and the coordinating dies are already not available anymore. *sniff*

I paired it with the beautiful Oh So Ombre Sale-a-Bration DSP that is coming in 2-1/2 weeks because it makes such a lovely sky background. For the non-sequin snowflakes I thinned some white poster paint with water and flicked it on with a small paint brush. I did put the paper in a box first to catch any wayward spatters but still ended up with some on my desk. 😟 Guess I flicked too hard!

Some more snowflakes were added with the (also retiring) Adhesive-backed Snowflakes, giving it just the right amount of shine.

That's my share for today. Now click the Next button to jump to Libby Fens at Libby Stamps, or the Back button to see what Mary Brown at Stamper Camper's Corner made!

    1. Lora, thanks so much! I stamped the large tree with Shaded Spruce ink and cut it out before adhering the white die cut on top.
