Storage by Stampin' Up!

If you've followed my blog for any length of time, you've probably noticed I like to organize things. Now, that doesn't mean that I'm organized by any stretch of the imagination, and if you saw the rest of my room, you'd see what I mean. But I do like to TRY, anyway.

Notice the empty spaces in the ink pad storage and Stampin' Blends storage.....all ready for new colors coming soon!!!

One of the things that makes my heart so very happy is color, and seeing all the Stampin' Up! colors together is a joy to me. When I arranged the ink pad and marker units, I allowed a low spot in the middle so my feline "helper" has access to the window sill. He's not too sure about it, yet.

The Storage Toppers are the perfect size for the ink refills, but since it's right in front of the window, I'd rather keep them in the dark drawer in case of fading. So, I'm using them for Clear Blocks, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals, and the black StazOn and Memento pads.

A note about unboxing your storage units: They come VERY well packed, as you can see, but don't throw away the little package of silicon feet, as I did accidentally! There are six per pack, but you only need four. Save the extras for if you reconfigure your storage!

When you apply the feet, the thicker ones go toward the front of the unit, over the circles with the plus marks.

There are Open Storage Cubes in addition to the ink pad and Blends storage, but I forgot to order them. *smacks forehead* I've listed the units and quantity of each that I used below, if you are interested.

HELPFUL INFO:
  • Each unit of Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays holds FIVE of the new style Classic Ink Pads and Stampin' Write Markers. The old style ink pads don't fit, but I hear that they will in the Open Storage Cubes.
  • Each unit of the Stampin' Blends Storage Trays holds THIRTY Stampin' Blends Markers.
  • All units are open on top so you can choose which kind of topper you want for them.
  • Units fit together, but do not snap together, so don't place them where they may be knocked over. (I think it was wise to not have them snap together, because of the possibility of pieces snapping off.)

WHAT I USED:
Stampin' Blends Storage Trays (x 3)
Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays (x 10)
Storage Toppers (x 5)
Storage Lids (x2)
