Yes, I am a little bit, but I'm not sick. It's just a gray, dreary day today. We had about 1.5 inches of snow over night, but early this morning it started raining, so it's just a slushy mess now. SO glad we are retired and don't have to go anywhere!
We have been very fortunate to have escaped the flu (so far, knock wood!) this season. It's really a miracle, since every time we go to the store it seems like everyone around us is coughing up a lung. I have become somewhat fanatical about using hand sanitizer every time I get in the car, in addition to the wipes they provide for wiping the buggy (aka shopping cart). We DON'T want to catch that nasty stuff that's going around!
Unfortunately, some people I know have gotten "the crud" and I thought this card would be a nice little pick-me-up to send. I didn't have any get well cards in my stash, but I'm going to remedy that! The Weather Together stamp set didn't have the greeting I wanted, so I just used Labeler Alphabet and made my own. Cool, huh?
Did you notice the tiny, adorable glitter raindrops? Those are in the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes on page 33 of the Occasions catalog. I never noticed how cute and teeny-tiny they were until I ordered them and had them in hand. So sweet, and they can be colored with Stampin' Blends if I want to change the color!
